Content Strategy for Brands
Shiseido
At Mediablaze, I was on the pitch team that won the Shiseido contract. I was Shiseido's lead content strategist and managing editor for 3 years, it was the 2nd biggest revenue driver at the agency. I led the full funnel, cross-channel content strategy for Shiseido, which required working cross-functionally with the brand, marketing, CRM, SEO and PR teams to create a seamless customer journey.
As Shiseido's global content partner we created the Ginza Edit; an online content destination to inspire and motivate both existing and potential customers. I created, assigned and edited more than 200 articles and oversaw the production of more than 250 original photos and videos.
I also oversaw our social media manager’s social post copy and community management for Shiseido’s Instagram.
Speedo UK
Worked on the pitch team and helped win Speedo UK contract to create Speedo On, an online community and smart watch app for swimmers. The editorial content I created for Speedo On lead to a 32% increase in basket value for content-consuming e-commerce customers. I also oversaw the creation of 60 swim drill videos which became the most-watched videos on Speedo UK’s YouTube channel.
Kin
Developed the content strategy for private media app Kin a private social media app for families. Wrote all the in-app copy, optimized the Google Play and Apple store copy for search. Wrote the copy for all the social media organic and paid posts. I also researched and wrote evidence-based thought leadership pieces with media talking points for Kin CEO to drive the successful pre-launch funding to $3.2m and a valuation of $25m.
